Equity markets performed well through the month of April, extending the gains made since the beginning of the year. The S&P/TSX rose 2.2%, while the S&P 500, Nasdaq and MSCI EAFE respectively gained 5.2%, 5.4% and 2.7% in U.S. dollar terms for the month of April.
